Data licenses and attribution
The application code and the datasets it displays are separate works. This page identifies the licenses for redistributed third-party data; it does not apply a Creative Commons license to the application code.
Spanish conjugations
The Spanish conjugation corpus, its two-verb startup subset, and the generated finite/clitic indexes are adaptations of Spanish entries from English Wiktionary, extracted and postprocessed by Kaikki.org with Wiktextract. Individual reviewed supplements come from Spanish Wiktionary; permanent source revisions are recorded in the corpus metadata.
These transformed conjugation datasets are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Changes include filtering Spanish verb entries, normalizing citation forms, compacting paradigms, deriving explicitly sourced pronominal forms, and adding reviewed open-source overrides. Attribution is to the English and Spanish Wiktionary contributors and to the Kaikki/Wiktextract extraction project. No endorsement is implied.
Grammar verb selection
The compact server-side grammar lexicon uses a fixed application coverage inventory. Every lemma and conjugation form resolves from the CC BY-SA corpus described above. The inventory is also checked against the pinned frequency list in doozan/spanish_data, which is licensed under CC BY 4.0. The frequency list is used for lexical auditing, not as a source of conjugation forms.
Spanish–English dictionary
The Spanish–English dictionary is a compact transformation of English Wiktionary data extracted by Kaikki/Wiktextract and is distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Its source dump and transformation metadata are embedded in the database.
Reproducible source URLs, versions, hashes, and transformation notes are embedded
in data/spanish_verbs.json,
